I have been working with clients to improve their health and fitness for twelve years.  I became interested in fitness at the age of 14 when I began to play football for my high school and realized that there were smarter ways to get bigger than by eating poorly and lifting dangerously.  After graduating, I joined the United States Marine Corps, and was selected to be a fitness trainer for Marines that were overweight or unable to pass their Physical Fitness Test.  For the past nine years, I have competed in multiple Body Building and Powerlifting competitions.

I created Rhino Strength & Performance to help people become healthy using safe methods…no fad diets, no dangerous workouts.  It is my belief that anyone can become healthy as long as they understand there is no "magic cure", and sometimes  a lifestyle change is necessary.  However, no matter how hard your goals might seem to be, with the proper training and diet plan, you will be able to meet those goals.

A good part of success in sports is overcoming mental barriers and developing how we view ourselves as an athlete. As a mental skills coach, I practice solution-based techniques. In our first session, we will develop a step-by-step system to address your main concerns and quickly work through any resistance currently getting in the way of reaching your goals. We will NOT be exploring your past relationships and family dynamics; this is NOT counseling or therapy. Our sessions will be focused on the future and how to set yourself up for optimal physical performance. I work alongside a team of experienced competitive athletes and physical trainers to address any concerns which could also be related to kinesthetic functioning.

Take a moment to consider how not being mentally prepared has had a negative effect on your fitness, training, and competition goals. People new to fitness, fitness lovers, and amateur/professional athletes alike can all have these difficulties throughout their journeys. I have also struggled with many of these concerns and know firsthand how frustrating it can be to not be able to perform at my best, which greatly inhibited my goals.

I look forward to assisting you reach your fitness goals and please feel free to contact me with any questions.
