We spent some time Saturday in Daytona Beach at the USAPL Nationals to cheer on our brother, Michael Vargas. We’ve never been to a National USAPL meet and I was impressed at how smoothly it ran. We enjoyed getting to see the athletes up on the platform giving their all, whether they got all whites or reds. Either way, the physical and mental preparation these athletes push through is amazing. Next time you see a powerlifting meet in your local area, go on and check it out. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by how fun they are.
